Almost zero cost and a very simple process to make summer wall decorations from driftwood, ideal, among other things, for both outdoor and commercial spaces.
Apart from driftwood you will only need thick cardboard and hot silicone gun.
DIY Driftwood decor ideas for a unique and natural decoration
First draw and cut on the cardboard the outline – shape of the construction. It can be, for example, a seahorse, a starfish, an anchor, a fish, etc.
If you have difficulty you can print something similar from the internet and then unpack it on the cardboard.
For large constructions, simply divide the shape into 2-3 individual pieces and hold the cardboard together with adhesive tape.
Now all you need to do is cover the design with driftwood, using smaller and larger timbers whichever way is better depending on the shape of the construction. You will stick them on the cardboard with a silicone heat gun.
If you want to emphasize the natural color of the sea wood, after the completion of the construction, apply a wood varnish.
The way to a really successful aesthetic result is to first rest the driftwood on the cardboard, without gluing them, so that you can easily make changes looking for the best arrangement of wood and when you finalize everyone’s position to glue them.
