Cultivation of aromatic plants in water

Many of the most common species of aromatic plants and herbs such as Oregano, Sage, Honeysuckle, Lavender, Marjoram, Thyme, Mint, Basil can grow and take root in water, instead of the traditional way of growing in soil.
All you need to do is place twigs 20-25cm long in each type of container eg jars, glasses, cans, etc. and add water at a height that covers about 10cm of shoots.

Dandelions – not an annoying weed, but a medicinal plant in your garden

Before placing them in the pots, remove the leaves at the bottom of the shoots, so that there are no leaves in the water that may rot, and renew the water every 3-4 days.
This is the only necessary care of growing plants in water instead of soil, while the addition of a minimum amount of organic liquid fertilizer every 2-3 weeks will contribute to their faster growth.

Place the pots in a bright spot inside your house or kitchen if there is the required space, to create an impressive … aromatic garden.

The lighting conditions for each plant should be the same as those of its respective conventional soil cultivation, while when the roots grow so much that they suffocate the pot, simply place the plants in larger pots – containers.
Of course any rooted plant, at any time you want it, can be transferred to a regular pot with soil.
