The ultimate resort to enjoy the Greek nature

The alpine landscape and the experience of mountain life are much closer to Switzerland. We discovered it at 235 km from Athens, in the dream village of Pavliani and at a height of 1100 meters. The name; Vasilikia Mountain Resort.

We arrived in the evening after we left Lamia’s lights below us, as we climbed the Zig Zag mountain to Mount Oiti. The host of the farm with his cowboy hat, Stavros, and his family welcomed us in the hottest way. A few minutes later I was surprised.

In the morning I woke up and I saw the alpine paradise, which is hard to believe is just two hours from Athens. Breakfast next to the oversized statue of the bear and then a walk in the leisure park with the inspirational name “The Parque”. Without exaggeration, it is the most entertaining place for any naturalist who has a good sense of humor.

Oxygen-filled droplets, paths that reveal to each turn a pleasant surprise. Evening next to the country house fireplace, stories, laughter and the real, genuine value of the company. Yes, at 1,100 meters you feel really free.
