Some years ago I saw an article with a staining technique using lace and spray to decorate the top of a display rack. This technique reappeared throughout the internet and there are beautiful examples of furniture painted with lace and sprays. It’s an easy way to dress a bit old fashioned and give a new spin on old furniture.
It’s pretty easy to add a lace pattern on each piece of furniture and all you need is lace and spray paint.
Transform furniture with lace and spray paint
You need enough lace to cover all the tracks you want to spray. You can use lace only once. Of course it doesn’t need be a woven expensive, but may be some paper decorative lace.
Simply place the lace over the area to be sprayed, shake well and spray lightly on the surface of the furniture.
For darker effect you can add a second coat after the first coat dried.
Gently lift the lace after the paint has dried to reveal a lovely vintage lace design for your furniture.
A simple technique that can elevate the image of your old furniture.
